What it takes to put a Modulus store live

Short answer
On Modulus you build and preview your store for free; to put it live and take real orders you need a paid plan, starting with Starter at ₪99 a month before VAT. Before the store goes live, Modulus checks for a product with a photo, your business type and details, a way to get paid, a shipping zone, the three legal pages and a published homepage.

Products and orders are unlimited on every plan. Paid plans also include your own domain. For high-volume businesses there’s an Enterprise plan with custom pricing. Full details on the pricing page
The launch checklist: what’s required before going live
Your dashboard shows a "Setup guide" with what’s ready and what’s missing. These steps are required:
- Products: at least one active product with a name, price and photo, and a photo for every active product. Sample products the AI made are hidden before launch.
- Design: a theme and a homepage published in the editor.
- Business type: osek patur, osek murshe or company.
- Business details: name, tax ID, email, phone and address. Business details and VAT
- Payments: a payment provider connected in live mode, or direct payment (Bit to your phone, bank transfer, cash). Connect a payment provider
- Legal pages: privacy policy, refund policy and terms. Ready-made text you can edit, which you need to review.
- Shipping: at least one shipping zone and rate. Set up shipping
- A paid plan: in Settings → Plan and billing.
Going live
Step 1: Complete the required steps in the setup guide

Each step takes you straight to the screen where you complete it.
Step 2: Choose a paid plan
Where: Settings›Plan and billing
Step 3: Put the store live
The guide’s last step asks "Put the store live?". Click "Yes, go live", and Modulus checks every required step again before the store opens.

Is Modulus free?

Is there a free trial?
There’s no separate trial: the Free plan is the trial, and you can build the whole store on it before paying.
Is there a limit on products or orders?
No. Products and orders are unlimited on every plan, Free included. Plans differ in going live, the domain and the amount of AI.
Why can’t I put my store live?
Most likely a required step in the setup guide is missing, or the store is on the Free plan, which shows "Going live and taking real orders needs a paid plan". A step marked missing in the guide takes you straight to where you complete it.
